at our hostels

Volunteer at HI hostels in Croatia in exchange for room and board during their visit.
Our hostels where you can volunteer are located in TOP destinations:
Zagreb, Rijeka, Pula, Veli Lošinj, Zadar and Dubrovnik!

As a non-profit and non-governmental organization, we appreciate every help and contribution to our work and strive to continuously develop volunteering in our association.

Volunteering at a hostel is a good way of cutting down on expensive accommodation costs and getting to know other country’s culture.

In return for working on reception, cleaning, changing beds and all the other day to day chores involved in keeping a hostel running smoothly, volunteer workers can expect at least a dorm bed. Free wifi, laundry and any service provided as standard to paying guests should also be expected.

Hostels typically look for sociable and well-travelled English speakers willing to pitch in where needed. Knowledge of any other foreign language is a plus.

After registration via mail we will send your the application form.
